Delicious math rock featuring artful and catchy melodic writing, underpinned by intensely complex instrumental work. The emo influence in TTNG's past works has been toned down in favor of delicate pop songwriting, and, oh boy, it does it for me. Andy Bond
Certainly a controversial direction for the band, but this album ultimately rests as my favorite from TTNG. The technical mastery of their previous albums is still present here along with some very thought provoking and philosophical lyrics. I may not always agree with the lyrical messaging, but this is an album which rewards careful listening. Syobnaf

Hopscotching from jangle pop and post-hardcore to math rock and shoegaze, these Minnesota rockers have a gift for musical multitasking. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 29, 2024
I could play this EP for hours endlessly, a mathrock classic for a reason. it's pretty and wonderfully expressive, the horns add so much. I wish there was more losthuman113
